CSU's Systems Engineering Programs began in 2008 and offers graduate level degrees including a Master of Engineering (M.E.), Master of Science (M.S.) a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), a Professional Doctorate (D.Eng.), and a graduate certificate in Systems Engineering Practice. Systems Engineering gained Department status in 2019. The Systems Engineering courses (and all degrees) are offered face-to-face and by distance delivery, synchronously and asynchronously and may include lecture, seminar, and other distance education formats. Position Summary

The Department of Systems Engineering (https: // www. engr.colostate.edu/se) at Colorado State University (Fort Collins campus) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship position to pursue research in Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), Hybrid Neural Networks, and Imaging Artificial Networks.

This individual will engage in groundbreaking, multi-disciplinary research in close collaboration with Dr. Steve Simske's research groups in the Systems Engineering Department and other departments at CSU. Candidates with a demonstrated research background in GANs, Machine Learning, and agent – based modeling are encouraged to apply.

Required Job Qualifications

● Must hold a Ph.D. or documentation of completion of Ph.D. requirements in a related field by the position start date

● Experience working with hybrid neural networks

● Experience in GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks)

● Experience with imaging artificial networks

● Entry – level knowledge of machine learning

Preferred Job Qualifications

● Authored or co-authored peer – reviewed manuscripts

● Evidence of successful student mentoring in research

● Experience with modeling and simulation methods including agent and engine- based modeling
